Our Mission Aims

At White Waltham Church we are keen to reach out and bless others with the love and grace God has shown to us in sending us His Son. Part of that work is supporting other mission organisations both in prayer and financially. Below are the two organisations we have committed to partnering with in their work in showing God's love to those in need.

Yeldall Manor

Yeldall manor is a local drug and alcohol treatment centre for men struggling with addiction. They welcome men of all faiths and walks of life and offer physical, emotional, mental and spiritual support as well as help with practical life problems and relationships.

One former resident says "Yeldall wrapped me a blanket of love and helped me find the courage I needed to look at myself in the mirror and face all the fears I'd lived with for over 20 years."

To learn more, have a listen to this amazing radio interview with another of the former residents, Chris Wood.

The Balfours

In February 2017, Mark and Rosalie Balfour moved to Guatemala where they work with street-connected children and young people at risk and their families. They also provide pastoral support for workers of other local charities and partnerships.

You can read all about their work and how you can support them on the Church Mission Society website

Soldiers' and Airmen's Scripture Readers Association (SARSA)

The Soldiers' and Airmen's Scripture Readers Association (SARSA) "provides the serving personnel of the British Army and Royal Air Force with a practical and constant experience of the Christian Faith through living and working alongside them in their units."

We support this important ministry each Remembrance Sunday as part of a special giving day. Please do visit their website to read more about how they seek to bring the hope of the Lord Jesus to those serving in our armed forces.
