Families, children and young people at White Waltham Church

Families, children and young people are an integral part of the church family at White Waltham and are welcome every Sunday.

Our main weekly service is at 10.30 am. On all Sundays children up to 14 years go to their own groups during the service.  We use a variety of activities (mostly based on Scripture Union resources) to introduce them to the teaching of the Bible.  Pre-school aged children, babies and toddlers meet in the Chapel Room within the church building - the church has toilet facilities.  Older school-aged children's and young people's groups meet in our new building, The Tree House, which has a full kitchen, toilet facilities and disabled access.

For information about midweek activities for our 14 – 18 year olds please contact our Vicar, Revd Dave Atallah, on 01628 822000.

Messy Church at White Waltham!

We have Messy Church at White Waltham Church once a month on Saturdays at 4pm.  We start in the church with crafts and activities for all, followed by lively worship, and then move to The Tree House for a meal, finishing by about 5.45pm.  Everyone is welcome - we do hope you will be able to join us!

Messy Church dates are the following Saturdays:  7 July, 22 September and 3 November.  Do put the dates in your diaries - we look forward to seeing you!

First Sundays of the month

On the first Sunday of the month we have a 'Short Morning Prayer' service where the children go to their own activities for about 30 minutes.  During 2017 at these services we are planning sessions for the school-aged children which are based on DVDs in the 'What's in the Bible' series.  These use an entertaining approach and a zany cast of puppet characters to introduce children to the whole story of the Bible - you can watch a trailer at (href=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE9sZ6XNqXA)https://www.youtube.com/watch?   Over the months we will make our way through the whole Bible - it will be great for children who are there every month, but there will always be plenty of context so people can also dip in and out of the series without feeling too lost.
